John Banning is the Medical Officer and oversees the Medical First Responder Division. We provide BLS support to Guardian EMS (The Bastrop County contract provider) and other agencies as requested.  Since its creation 4 years ago, we have responded to over 350 medical incidents. This does not include calls where a general alarm was sounded for a full fire department response.

All of our EMT and ECA Medics are issued a fully stocked BLS response kit, portable radio and most are issed AED's.
