Johnnie Schroeder serves as an Assistant Chief. He is a member of the Executive Council and is responsible for Fire Operations.

Johnnie has been with the department 24 years and has served as Assistant Chief, Captain and Lieutenant

Johnnie is employed by the County of Bastrop and is very active within the community. He currently serves as Chairman of the Smithville Jamboree Committee.
