Robert Parker serves as the Treasurer for the Smithville Volunteer Fire Department. He is a member of the Executive Council and is responsible for finance.

 Bob joined the department in 2007 shortly after moving to Smithville. He retired as a Captain with the Austin Fire Department after 28 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Austin. Bob served as a Captain of Investigations and Photography.

Bob holds a Master Firefighter, Arson Investigator, Fire Inspector and instructor certifications with the Texas Commission on Fire Protection. He is also an Emergency Medical Technician.
