Jack Page serves as Fire Marshal for the Smithville Volunteer Fire Department. He is a member of the Executive Council and is responsible for Fire Investigations, Public Education, various fire safety programs including the free smoke detector drive, Fire Incident records and other customary duties of Fire Marshal.

Jack has been a member of the department for 26 years. He has served as Fire Marshal, Captain and Lieutenant. Jack is employed by the City of Smithville as Public Works Director and Emergency Management Coordinator.

Jack is a Certified Firefighter, Fire Investigator, Fire Prevention Specialist and Instructor with the State Fireman's and Fire Marshal's Association of Texas. He also holds Fire Inspector and Fire Investigator certifications with the Texas Commission on Fire Protection.

Jack has been honored as Smithville Citizen of the Year and instrumental in numerous community projects. Most recently, he helped cook the worlds largest gingerbread man that was verified in the Guinness book of records.
